The Saskatchewan NDP recaptured two seats in the provincial legislature by winning two byelections Monday, including one that will send Opposition leader Dwain Lingenfelter back to the legislature for the first time in eight years.

It was 1913 when North Battleford and Weyburn became the province’s newest cities.
Nearly 100 years later, Saskatchewan is doing it again, announcing last week that the towns of Meadow Lake and Martensville have reached city status.
